A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator news eu commission Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
